Spring Masterclasses

May 24th - 27th 2024. 

Immerse yourself in a three day course packed with learning, performance experiences and inspiration from the glorious surroundings of Snowdonia National Park.

This course runs from 5pm on Friday May 24th until after lunch on Monday May 27th, with all meals, snacks tea and coffee included.

Each participant has a minimum of 45 minutes of tuition per day in masterclass format with Richard Ormrod and Mary Hofman. There is also the opportunity for those bringing violin/piano sonata repertoire to work on it by playing alongside Richard Ormrod, who will deliver coaching.

There will be time and opportunity to practice on either of the 2 pianos, one of which is a Steinway Model L. 

In the afternoon time will be made to explore the surrounding area of Gwydyr Forest, including the famous Swallow Falls and Llyn y Parc. The courageous can go swimming, or undertake other outdoor activities at their leisure.

The fee for the course is £500 per person. This includes bell tent accommodation and full board for the duration of the course.
